Job: Business Development Representative BDR Telecom

 Responsibilities:

You are the point of first contact, you pass a qualified lead on to an Account Manager.

BDR activity is to qualify prospects, whether they are inbound (leads that come through someone submitting a form online or calling in) or outbound (cold calling a list of names for example). The BDR qualifies the lead, fills in as much information about the lead as they can, and passes it along.

Prospect for new Partners, initiates discussions and qualify partners to generate quality leads;

  • Generate new business opportunities to fuel our up-market growth;
  • Create and prioritize strategic target account lists within a defined territory;
  • Research and build new and existing accounts (i.e. adding contacts, sending emails, strategic calling, events);
  • Report leads pipeline for new partners and performance of existing partners;
  • Attend regular client/vendor meetings;
  • Other sales support activities.
Essential skills and experience:
  • University degree, Economics/ Engineering preferred;
  • Experience in telecommunications, direct sales or brokerage;
  • Excellent English, both spoken and written;
  • Excellent communication skills ( both written and verbal);
  • Strong active listening towards fast and accurate customer needs identification;
  • Team worker but can work individually as well and can work with minimum supervision, self-motivated;
  • Fair knowledge of the national and international telecommunications environment is a plus;
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills, competitive driven to achieve the individual and the team’s objectives and targets;
  • Presentation, Negotiation skills;
  • Attention to details and analytical skills, good organization of work and time;
  • Strong desire to learn and fast learning ability.
